The Blame Game – Mistakes In Poker

One of the most usual mistakes committed in poker is the blame game. This occurs frequently to individuals who are just starting to learn the game. Some who are starting out in the game gained knowledge about poker and become aware of their mistakes, they also saw how their opponents make mistakes. With this knowledge they thing that luck is the only hinder they have when they are not winning a game.

If you make mistake like the blame game, you indulge in passing up fault to anyone convenient even if they don’t deserve it. Only a few people can accept the fact that they have made their own mistakes.

Poker players often blame bad luck on their part and luck on their opponents as culprits on their poor play. They also sometimes think that the table and place they are playing with are unlucky.

The point is that there are only a number of individuals who are willing to admit that they have made a mistake in their play. Somehow maybe in the course of the play they have managed to make a little mistake like not re-raising on the right moment and not checking their opponents way of play into account. Only a number of poker players will stop casting blame to everyone else and stop to think that they have a hand when they have lose a bet. Its really easier to blame someone than to admit one’s own mistakes.

Poker should be a time to explore yourself. If your rivals know what to do with their game better than you can then your are in big trouble. Evaluating yourself should also be included in your list of priorities as much as knowing your rivals play. If something wrong happened, don’t go on blaming your rivals or the winner of the hand, take a breath and evaluate how you played your hand and try to see what mistakes you’ve made even the littlest one.

When you finished all the necessary things to evaluate and you can’t see anything wrong with that you do then you can now blame luck for the loss of your hand.

Correcting little mistakes will eventually improve the way you play your game and much more by keeping you away from the thoughts while you’re looking for the prospective mistakes that you might have done. Remember, its really easy to keep your calm when you are self evaluating rather than you nick pick on everyone’s luck.

Don’t hurry in passing blame to anyone else in the table. Make time to evaluate what happened and I think you’ll be simply surprise on how come almost all the game comes from your own costly mistake.
