78-year-old Takes Home $400K from 2010 WSOP Seniors Event
Dominating the World Series of Poker Seniors event is the 78-year-old Florida retiree. The senior’s event or the $1,000 Seniors No-Limit Hold’em World Championship was headed by Harold Angle. The said tournament takes its action at the Rio All Suites Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas as a part of the ongoing 2010 World Series of Poker.
For 2010, it feels like a record setting event that gathered down a field of 3,142 players. It is the first time in the seniors poker event to cope up with over 3,000 players. As Angle ended in the first spot, he walks away with $487, 994, although he entered the final table with the less chips on hand he was able to cope up in the situation and win the prize.
Well, never underestimate the capacity of poker players with the less chips, for it is a motivating factor for them to continue the game regardless with the number of chips they had. If you want to experience the same fate like Angle, start to build your blocks now by joining the online poker rooms, who knows? You can be one of the poker pros to participate in the WSOP.
